I believe this coffee maker will last a long time. The design is better than my older coffee maker. It grinds and brews delicious fresh coffee for us daily! I love the thermal carafe!

As others have said, it needs to be cleaned daily. But its worth it for the quality of coffee it produces. I've owned one for a few years and it still makes excellent coffee. My favorite blend is 70% Starbucks Pike Place, 20% Dunkin Original and 10% Hills Bros Dark Satin. Every few months I'd recommend a thorough cleaning with Oxygen Brew Wash, let the carafe and all parts sit in the wash for an hour or so, but that works perfectly. House guest are always impressed with the coffee

This coffee maker is great. We have had one for many years! We are currently in our third one. Coffee is always fresh, and the carafe keeps it hot and delicious!

Very nice coffee maker. I love using fresh grounds and the coffee stays hot for many hours in the carafe. Only issue I could see is if you are a light sleeper or sleep near where you brew your coffee, the grinder is quite loud but only runs for a few second.

Previous Cuisinart grind and brew lasted over 10 years. I purchased the same model hoping for similar longevity. I wash after every use, descale with vinegar when neeeded. This coffeemaker brew great tasting coffee! I did purchase a sliding tray to easily pull the unit from underneath the cabinet for easy filling/cleaning.

Automatic grind & brew 10-cup thermal coffeemaker

Replacement to our 12 cup thermal carafe grind & burr which starting leaking after 8 years and no longer available. Disappointed in the 10 cup thermal carafe grind & brew model we purchased. Bring back the old design for adding coffee beans and burr grinder vs the blade grinder. Grinder basket and grinder basket lid design is terrible for cleaning purposes and makes preparing a pot of coffee a major project. Will never purchase this model again.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback, and we’re sorry to hear that this Automatic Grind & Brew model did not meet the expectations you developed from your previous Cuisinart coffee maker. Differences in grinder type and basket design can impact both flavor and ease of cleaning, and while regular cleaning of the grinder chamber and chute can help performance, we understand your preference for the former burr‑grinder design and user experience. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience—your feedback is important and helps influence improvements in future models.

Freshly brewed coffee awaits me each weekday morning. I love that I can prep the coffeemaker the night before for automatically ground and brewed coffee the next morning. The taste is pretty good too! The insulated carafe keeps the coffee hot until we both can get to the coffeepot!
On the downside, the grinder seems to waste some of the ground coffee beans as they stick to the sides of the grinder and the spout that leads to the filter basket, so the coffee is slightly less strong than we like. Since we are making coffee for only two people, the automatic coffeemaker is fine for rushed weekday mornings. If I wanted a full pot, however, I don't think it holds enough coffee beans. The grinder container is too small. So, in the end, it works well for the two of us on hectic mornings, but we still use our French press on the weekends.
