[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned two of these coffee makers. One lasted about 10 years. The current one I have is about 5 years old and the coffee bean grinder does not work. We still use it to brew the coffee but I miss my fresh ground beans. Looking to replace the whole coffee machine.
Good coffee but the grinder broke after the first month, so I’m having to use a counter top grinder now. Haven’t contacted anyone about the warranty yet.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Automatic Grind & Brew 10-Cup Coffeemaker—we’re glad to hear the coffee quality meets your expectations, though we’re sorry to hear about the grinder issue. We recommend ensuring the grinder is kept clean and free of buildup, as well as using dry, non-oily beans, which can help maintain performance. Since this may be covered under warranty, we encourage you to contact our Consumer Assistance Center at 1-800-726-0190 and reference ticket #8900646565 for support and next steps. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps guide improvements for our future models—thank you.
I just bought my third Cuisinart Grind & Brew Coffeemaker, so obviously I like them very much. This latest model, however, has one changed feature that I do not like at all. For some reason, they have attached the cover to the grind basket. The user's manual says it can be removed, but I have been unable to accomplish that and would worry about re-attaching it. With the cover attached, it is very awkward to wash; I wonder who thought that was a good idea. Still makes great coffee (IMHO), but I grumble at it every night when I have to wash the grind basket with the top attached.
Replacement to our 12 cup thermal carafe grind & burr which starting leaking after 8 years and no longer available. Disappointed in the 10 cup thermal carafe grind & brew model we purchased. Bring back the old design for adding coffee beans and burr grinder vs the blade grinder. Grinder basket and grinder basket lid design is terrible for cleaning purposes and makes preparing a pot of coffee a major project. Will never purchase this model again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback, and we’re sorry to hear that this Automatic Grind & Brew model did not meet the expectations you developed from your previous Cuisinart coffee maker. Differences in grinder type and basket design can impact both flavor and ease of cleaning, and while regular cleaning of the grinder chamber and chute can help performance, we understand your preference for the former burr‑grinder design and user experience. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience—your feedback is important and helps influence improvements in future models.
My 3rd Cousinart grind and brew over 15 years. The coffee is great and love the improvements to the cover of the carafe that prevents dripping. My only complaint is the unbelievably loud grinder. It sounds like a spaceship taking off and wakes the entire house. If I knew how loud the grinder was , I would not have purchased it
We had the older version of this coffee maker since 2018 and it still works. The motor started sounding weird after 7 years and we did not want to risk not being able to make coffee and purchased the updated model. It is just as good, if not better than the original. Great product at a quality price. Still keeping the old one as a backup.
Previous Cuisinart grind and brew lasted over 10 years. I purchased the same model hoping for similar longevity. I wash after every use, descale with vinegar when neeeded. This coffeemaker brew great tasting coffee! I did purchase a sliding tray to easily pull the unit from underneath the cabinet for easy filling/cleaning.
