Very disappointed … Not acceptable for beans - grinder is not burr, bean container is too small - and messy. Bean collector is wet after use because it is near water heater! Requires drying after each use.

Because of the unit’s design, some moisture near the bean container can occur from internal steam; we recommend allowing the unit to cool between cycles and drying the bean area thoroughly after use, as well as keeping beans dry and using smaller amounts to help reduce buildup. Freshly brewed coffee awaits me each weekday morning. I love that I can prep the coffeemaker the night before for automatically ground and brewed coffee the next morning. The taste is pretty good too! The insulated carafe keeps the coffee hot until we both can get to the coffeepot!
On the downside, the grinder seems to waste some of the ground coffee beans as they stick to the sides of the grinder and the spout that leads to the filter basket, so the coffee is slightly less strong than we like. Since we are making coffee for only two people, the automatic coffeemaker is fine for rushed weekday mornings. If I wanted a full pot, however, I don't think it holds enough coffee beans. The grinder container is too small. So, in the end, it works well for the two of us on hectic mornings, but we still use our French press on the weekends.

This is our third Grind and brew in 25 years! We love to wake up on the weekends and have freshly ground coffee with our favorite beans. You can also use it with grind off if you have ground coffee. We also bought one for each of our sons when they moved out. Coffee is life!!!

You changed the design of the drip part of the coffee maker which makes it more cumbersome to wash and empty the grounds. I am on my 5 th coffee maker of this style .. I love the grind and brew into a thermal pot .
