This is a replacement coffee maker of the exact model. We had only had it for four years when it started leaking. That’s one year after the warranty expired. We had the same model before that one that broke two weeks after the warranty expired. The only reasons we get this coffee maker is that we like to grind our beans and have a thermal carafe. I am disappointed that they don’t last!

We're sorry to hear about your experience and understand your disappointment with the longevity of your coffee makers. Our products are backed by a limited 3-year warranty, and we recognize how frustrating it can be when an issue occurs outside of that coverage period, especially when you've chosen the same model more than once because you value the built-in grinder and thermal carafe features. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience—your feedback provides valuable insight that helps us evaluate product durability and improve future models.
Been using new coffeemaker for 2 weeks. It works well. Grinder is bit loud but other than that performs good! Replaced a previous Cuisinart that was identical just gave new model#. Had that one for 13 years! The grinder stopped working.
This product has excellent features and a lot of promise, but the lack of soundproofing is a notable drawback. Because it runs very loud, it limits how and when I can use it. Improving the audio insulation would easily turn this into a 5-star product.
I bought this coffeemaker in December to replace our previous cuisinart grind and brew. The old model was five star and lasted years. This brew and grind is so disappointing. Does not grind fine and uses tons more coffee. I just tried to clean and the hopper will not come off. Even with two people it can’t be removed. I a terribly disappointed.

We're sorry to hear this model has not met the expectations set by your previous Cuisinart Grind & Brew coffeemaker. If the hopper is difficult to remove for cleaning, please ensure the unit is powered off and confirm all beans have been emptied from the hopper, as residual beans can sometimes interfere with removal; the owner’s manual may also provide model-specific cleaning guidance. For immediate assistance, please contact the Cuisinart Consumer Assistance Center at 1-800-726-0190 and reference Ticket #8901033433. We value your feedback and will share your comments regarding grind consistency, coffee usage, and hopper removal with our product team, as insights like yours help guide future product improvements; thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
Very disappointed … Not acceptable for beans - grinder is not burr, bean container is too small - and messy. Bean collector is wet after use because it is near water heater! Requires drying after each use. Seems ok for ground coffee but bean collector is wet and must be dried after each use.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand your disappointment with the grind and brew performance. Because of the unit’s design, some moisture near the bean container can occur from internal steam; we recommend allowing the unit to cool between cycles and drying the bean area thoroughly after use, as well as keeping beans dry and using smaller amounts to help reduce buildup. Thank you for your feedback—it helps us improve future models and designs.
