2 pts: The coffee maker takes up minimal space but is still larger than it's predecessor (the beloved 4 cup maker...that they should bring back...because it was a better machine).
3 pts: This makes a good cup of coffee...as it should...because that is it's only job.
-1 pt: The lid of the water reservoir isn't shaped in a way to prevent it from falling into the reservoir...problematic if you already have water in the reservior and have to fish the lid out.
-1 pt: When you pull the carafe out of the maker, regardless of whether it's still in the process of making coffee or after it is done, coffee will drip onto the hot plate. The dripping comes from the center 'button' that touches the top of the carafe lid. This dripping is something the predecessor did not do.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback on the 5‑Cup Coffeemaker with Stainless Steel Carafe. We’re glad you’re enjoying the coffee quality, and for the issues you mentioned, ensuring the water reservoir lid is fully seated before filling and briefly pausing before removing the carafe may help reduce dripping from the brew‑pause valve; our Consumer Assistance Center can also walk through additional troubleshooting. Please contact us at 1‑800‑726‑0190 and reference Ticket #8900605344so our team can assist further. Thank you—we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, as your feedback helps us improve future models.
I wanted a compact coffee maker with a steel carafe for my RV . I really like the look of the coffee maker and it brews one of the best cups of coffee i've had at home. I've only had it for 2 weeks so I don't know anything about longevity yet but for someone looking for a compact coffee maker I would highly recommend it
CUTE Coffee Maker, nice stainless steel carafe…….but I agree with another Reviewer the coffee or water remains in pot and you cannot pour it all out. Also I wish it stayed hot for more than 30 minutes.
Well my 20 yr old messy Mr Coffee 4 cup Coffee maker finally gave up. This is about the same size and 100 times cleaner and easier to use! Love the fact it'll shut off in 30 minutes vs my old one i would leave the kitchen light on as a reminder the Coffee was still on. The removable water reservoir is awesome and absolutely love the filter tray and filter screen. I always re-use the same filter until full. With the cone design you can actually empty and compost and reuse the cone filter which make the 100 filters last longer.
I love so many of the features of this coffee maker. The stainless steel carafe is so much safer for both the seniors and children in our home. No more guessing which filters to get with the mesh filter. Refilling the water chamber is a breeze.
When u fill the water to the full 5 cups, it overflows the carafe, and it leaks when u pour it at too steep of an angle. There is coffee all over my floor right now. Bought this with the understanding that cuisinart made good quality products. I would not recommend this machine unless you like staining your floor coffee color.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us—we’re sorry to hear the machine overflowed when filled to the 5‑cup line and that the carafe leaks when poured at a steep angle. Overflowing can sometimes occur if the filter basket isn’t fully seated, if the grind is too fine, or if the lid isn’t closed securely, and our team can walk you through quick steps to ensure proper flow and prevent spills. We’d be happy to provide additional troubleshooting or explore support options to help resolve this, so please contact our Consumer Assistance Center at 1‑800‑726‑0190 and reference ticket number TICKET #8900570224. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and the opportunity to help improve your experience.
