Perfect size for my small kitchen counter space.
Coffee is hot and tastes good.
I especially like the water container since it is clear and easy to see fill line.
I would recommend using cone filters for this product.

It does not flip open. Have to remove the top to rinse out.

I've enjoyed making coffee with my Cuisinart 5-cup coffeemaker. Easy to use and clean. What I enjoy the most about it is the water receptacle - it contains a carbon filter and it's easy to remove and install.

The coffee maker works as it should. However, I gave it only a "3" because it is inferior (in my estimation) to Cuisinart's previous model of the same carafe; the plastic and stainless steel used are of a lesser quality. I do like the removable water dispenser, which is much easier to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The machine itself brews well, and quickly; but the carafe design is awful. It's difficult to pour at more than a snail's pace without spills and occasional burns.
