I gave this review five stars because my Cuisinart excels on rvery point. I’m 80 years old lady and I don’t need anything that causes me problems. I’m picky.
My Cuisinart fits nicely on my counter top and was reasonably priced. I noticed one reviewer mentioned the lip on the carafe caused him to dribble while pouring. I’ve not had this problem.
Perhaps he poured too quickly.
My Cuisinart is easy to use, making my coffee in seven minutes, and cleanup is quick. Because the Carafe is stainless steel, I don’t worry about it breaking and because of Cuisinarts unique filtering system, i can use water straight from the tap—it filters for me. I find there is no need for additional paper filters. I like strong coffee, but I do not like a bitter taste The Cuisinarts carafe filters perfectly so that I get a Consistently smooth cup of coffee every morning. I highly recommend Cuisinart 5 cup coffee maker with stainless steel carafe!

Holding cup start liking from the beginning and I can't make less than 5 cup of coffee at the time.
Very fine ground coffee this machine not able to produce. It creates 4 cups instead of 5 with illy ground coffee. (5 coffee spun on 5 cups of waters)

This is the perfect coffee maker for a single cup (large) of coffee. The thing I most love about this coffee maker is the stainless steel carafe. I like a lot of people these days have granite countertops. Glass carafes do not like granite. So I went looking for a new coffee maker. It makes coffee fast and the perfect serving. It's sort of easy to clean and it's small, doesn't take up a lot of space on the countertop. My only caution is some of the plastic pieces are a little sharp around the inside of the carafe and on the top of the carafe lid.
