Downsizing from a thermal Bunn. It led a long life. I drink less coffee now & I knew Cuisinart was a solid brand. And even though the carafe wasn’t thermal, at least I couldn’t break it. And it has ‘sneak a cup’ while brewing & auto shutoff. It’s called a 5 cup, I drink mugs. It solidly fills two mugs. Review say it leaks when poring. It does if you lean it against your cup. Just hold the carafe up a bit when pouring. Easy to clean…I love it!!!!

Great for elderly. Stainless pot is durable and there is automatic shut off after 30 mins. Makes great coffee. It’s hot and I like the water filter. The detachable tank is great however next generation they should put a handle on tank so you can lift it to the faucet to fill.

We love this one even more than the 2 previous 4 cup with stainless carafe we had that each lasted for years. It fits below our cupboard and is just the right amount for the 2 of us every morning.

Overall the coffeemaker is satisfactory. It however is not as good as my old 4 cup Cuisinart it is replacing. Once the coffee has brewed, the basket drips onto the warming plate when the carafe is removed. Once the basket is removed, you must dry the inside of the basket holder or put a saucer on the warming plate to catch the drips of water. The rim of the carafe collects water in the dishwasher and requires rinsing after washing to make sure there is no dishwasher residue trapped. Also, the lid which covers the basket is difficult to open. If Cuisinart had kept the same design as the old 4 cup and just made it a 5 cup capacity, this would be a better machine.
