I had to replace my toaster so this is the one I purchased. I am so glad. The different settings are wonderful but the best thing is the toast is perfect. I didn't know that toast could be so good.

Happy with it so far. Had it for a few months now. Slots are extra wide which is good for bagels but a bit short for longer bread which is the only draw back. It also allows for you to cancel the cycle

I "test drove" several brands of toasters before settling on this Cuisinart. Toasting should not be difficult, really, but I found many poor toasters on the market. I have been pleased with this toaster. It is consistent in its toasting (not suddenly burning the toast even though the darkness level had not changed) and does bagels nicely/ I would have given it the 5th star if the slots were a bit wider to fit bagels better.
