Replacement for previous broken Cuisinart

We purchased this Cuisinart model toaster less than a year ago. The center heating element quit working. The one we recently received was a replacment. Cuisinart has gone cheap, like all other brands. Sad.

This is our 2nd toaster, we had to send the cord back to get a replacement, the toast only
toasted on one side no matter what we tried, the second one isn't much better. Sorry
