It works well, with many choices for darkness of toasting, most of which I haven't even used yet. I just used 1 to 3 so far. I like having a special setting for a single item and the defrost selection. Plus, I really like the simple design, all stainless. In addition, it doesn't take up too much space on my counter.

Toaster failed in about 2 weeks. The lever to move the toast up and down would not stay down. Toaster returned for credit. Another brand was purchased.

This toaster does exactly what I wanted-makes toast. Nothing fancy, just settings for bagel or bread. I he bread does toast sort of dark, so I’d advise you either put it on a light setting or watch it carefully.

Best toaster I've ever had! This toaster toasts my bread both sides pretty evenly. I'm not used to that. It took me a long time to find the right toaster to do the right job.

We purchased this Cuisinart model toaster less than a year ago. The center heating element quit working. The one we recently received was a replacment. Cuisinart has gone cheap, like all other brands. Sad.
