This toaster works great. My only complaint is the same complaint I have with every single toaster of every brand that I've tried, and that's that it doesn't toast my gluten free oat flour bread as well as it does regular bread. All else is good.

We really don't get excited when purchasing a new toaster. They are all mediocre. This toaster is different, the features and controls work just as they should, regardless if it's a frozen waffle, English muffin or a slice of toast. We love it!

The minute i opened the box of this toaster, i immediately know that corners were cut somewhere:
1. The actual weight was less
2. The control lever was flimsy which was the demise of the toaster.
3. Took an inordinately long time to reach temperature.
4. I had the prior one, in fact i have another one in our other home, and they are more substantial in construction.
5. I am an engineer, so my comments should not be dismissed.
