Only problem I have is that finger marks are always all over the stainless steel exterior each to e it is touched and must constantly be cleaned

Like the Cuisinart but two toasters failed to work

I chose Cuisinart due to its good reputation. However, I have now purchased two different Cuisinart toasters and both failed to work properly after a couple weeks. The first toaster was a less expensive Cuisinart and the toaster quit working because the lever failed to engage. The second toaster was a more expensive one and it too failed to work properly. This toaster has more settings. It had a one slice chose which stopped working properly. Returned without any problems. Went to another brand which is still working. Sorry the Cuisinart failed to work properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I don’t find it’s any better than a cheaper toaster as far as consistently browning. I just hope it lasts longer than other toasters. I prefer a toaster oven that you can see the toasting.
