I don’t find it’s any better than a cheaper toaster as far as consistently browning. I just hope it lasts longer than other toasters. I prefer a toaster oven that you can see the toasting.

I have been very pleased with this toaster. Bread is quickly and evenly toasted and bagels are done on the cut side very nicely. I have yet to try the other features but am very happy with this toaster.
