I’m impressed that this toaster doesn’t just put heat the the bread, but seems to customize the toasting effect based on the type of bread selected. So the bagel setting only toasts one side. I was surprised by the improved quality of my toast using this toaster.

I am very happy with my Cuisinart two slice Toaster! It toasts slices of bread to perfection.....toasty on the outside and soft on the inside.....to any degree of color you desire. It also toasted my English Muffins to my liking also......toasty on the cut side without browning too much on the outside. I haven't tried bagels yet but I would imagine they will toast well too! I would definitely recommend this toaster!
