When I needed a new toaster, I didn't want to buy the cheapest toaster, but I didn't need the most expensive one, either. What do I need a toaster to do? It needs to brown bread, bagels, and toaster pastries evenly on both sides, and not let it get stuck inside. It needs to be easy to clean, not take up an undue amount of real estate, and it would be nice if it was attractive. This one checks all the boxes. I have several other Cuisinart appliances, and I believe they are well made, durable, no nonsense machines at a price point that I can live with.

I eat toast every morning, so getting a good toaster was very important to me. My toast comes out perfect every time and I like how many options it has for bagels, etc. It was also important to have a toaster that was aesthetically pleasing since I use it so often and it sits on my counter. Decent Toaster, it could be sturdier but toasts both sides of your bread unlike so many other brands. Slots could be a little wider to better accommodate ciabattas or bagels. All in all a pretty good toaster from a reputable company. Can't figure out what the single button does as both slots heat up.
