The cord is short, might be a problem for you, just an annoyance for me. The top part of a slice of bread doesn’t always toast as much as the bottom. Seem a lot of Pepperidge Farm and Brownberry slices are a little wider, resulting in uneven toasting. The lever and dials seem cheaply made. It’s a toaster, it was relatively cheap, I might buy it again but just as easily I could look for a better product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like this toaster. I like being able to pick my level of toastiness and the item being toasted. The only thing I wish it had was a light to idicate it is on so little ones know to not touch.
