We have had the toaster a few weeks now and seems to toast the bread evenly. I like the pull out tray in the bottom to discard crumbs. So far happy with this purchase.

i have it set on the highest setting and lucky to get part of the bread tasted. worst toaster I have ever owned. It was also a bit pricey.
