Unimpressed. The dials seemed like gimmicks. The only thing you could really do (besides darkness setting) is just turn on the outside burners - WHICH TOASTED SINGLE SLICES EVEN MORE UNEVENLY!!!! Small bread openings, too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Toaster works well with plenty of settings. I do miss the countdown timer my old Cuisinart had. When stopping the toaster short of it's time if you try and move the lever up instead of pushing the cancel button it feels like I'm breaking the toaster.

When it works it makes good toast, English muffins etc. BUT most times it will not pop up and continue to burn the toast fill the house with smoke. It cannot be left alone for fear of burning. The eject bottom sticks. I have bought Cuisinart appliance’s before and have been very satisfied maybe this is a one off issue.
