It is pricey and is very light which feels cheap. Bought it for my in-laws and was not pleased. The toast was good so I did not return.

Nice features for toasting different types of bread, but I find it does not toast equally on both sides. It also doesn’t have a feature to lift bread up to check on status of toasting like my old Breville toaster. I bought the toaster based on the Cuisinart reputation and other customer reviews.

Overall I like the toaster. I like that you can dial for various breads including bagels. It also has a button for a single item. Bagels face out rather than in. My husband has to have the slide for darker and light near the end of the dark cycle to get a normal bagel shade. That worries me as our last Cuisinart toaster only had to use that setting shortly before it died. We’ve only had this toaster for 2 months.
