Overall function of the toaster is good. It browns toast evenly. I like the different function categories. The crumb tray could be a little more sturdy. Slots could be a little longer and slice pop up could be a little higher.

We are quite satisfied with this new Cuisinart 2-slice toaster. It performs as advertised. Handles various toasting tasks as advertised. The toasting of frozen items w/the defrost function has performed well! My only suggestion for this toaster would be to add a bell or sound when the toasting cycle is complete. Otherwise a nice product!

Simple toaster, works well, looks sleek. One problem so far: although it has a bagel setting, the bagels we get don't fit in the slots. Well, they fit, but only just so. I have to push each slice down and then, when toasting is done, force-eject them by hand. Otherwise, good, basic toaster.

This model seems to have an issue with the start lever. On our old unit the start lever became difficult to engage only after a few months. This new model seem to have already started the say thing. The unit works well though once the start lever engages.
