This is the second one I've purchased in almost 10 years. I absolutely love it! The only reason I replaced it was because I have hard water and no matter what you use the calcium build up eventually doesn't come out. I even used a product called Dip-it which is industrial strength. This coffee maker brews the best cup of coffee ever!

It's easy to use, but doesn't keep the coffee terribly hot. The best cup is in the first few minutes. I do like having a reservoir vs. a carafe--nothing to break or lift out to get a cup. The light over the cup is a bon us.

I have used this exact pot for the last 10 years. This is the 2nd one I have bought. I love there is no carafe to deal with and I program it to go on in the morning so it's ready the minute I get out of bed. Cuisinart is so great to stand behind its products that I would not think about getting a different coffee maker. It is definitely 5 stars
