This my fourth “On Demand Coffee Maker”…as they do not last long. The coffee makers eventually leak, and coffee/water runs everywhere on the counter, because there is no warning and you cannot predict when it will happen. It is not a great time early in the morning to wake up and discover coffee everywhere on your kitchen counter. I really like the features and the quick brew time. However there has to be some kind of design flaw to happen to the four coffee makers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I previously had the Hamilton Beach version of this.
This is tremendously better. Coffee definitely taste better. The release lever is a great upgrade from the push method of other unit.

This is the best coffee maker we have ever owned - easy to clean, easy to program, coffee is always hot and fresh. Our current model is 8 yrs old and still as good as it was day 1. I am really hoping Cuisinart designs a fully stainless steel option as the plastic reservoir is the only negative.

Great tasting coffee since 2006!

We bought this model (or a similar model) in 2006 and till this day it still makes the hottest coffee with no issues. This machine is a workhorse and has been sitting on our counter and used daily for 20+ years. We replaced the reservoir about 3 or 4 times and it just keeps going and going!
