Overall, this is a great coffee pot! Easy to use, easy to fill and clean, and I love the coffee gauge. I didn’t give it a 5 because the cord was too short. You have to open the top to fill the water up and add coffee, but its tall so I cant open it without pulling it out from underneath the cabinets- have to unplug due to the short cord... also have reset the time, auto etc. I got an extension cord but that was annoying.
I love my coffee and this coffeemaker makes excellent coffee. I like it because I can do my own blends and it keeps the coffee hot. My first OnDemand was superior in every way--it didn't leak, it kept the coffee hot, etc. but it broke after 2 yrs. Cuisinart sent a replacement. The gauge doesn't work well on this one but it makes a really good cup of coffee and keeps it hot.
Absolutely outstanding ! ! I purchase this model to replace the one I had. The old Cuisinart coffeemaker lasted longer than any other that I've owned, and at 72 I have had a few. This style of maker is the only way to go as far as I am concerned. My wife or I can walk up get a cup and move on, and there are no drips from the pot. That may not seem like a lot but not all pots are created equal and you dont know till you own it. The advantage of no pot has also increased 10 fold with the spread of granit countertops. The fact that the coffee is in a more sealed reservoir it lasts longer before you get a burnt taste . I can not praise it enough.
