A Convenient ‘No Carafe’ Coffee Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using this coffee maker for perhaps 20 years now. The initial one was replaced once. Then we moved and, for a while, had two, one in each house; then we sold the second house and gifted the other to a family member. I have a box one in my storeroom just in case the current one needs to be replaced. After such a long time, it's become a legitimate member of the family. I'm gratified to see the coffee maker is still available (though its price recently changed).

This is my second one of these. The first lasted more than 5 years. It makes the best tasting coffee, no pitcher to scrub (or break), and keeps it nice and hot until you finish it. This one may last even longer for me, as it took a bit of a learning curve to find the best cleaner and best schedule for doing it. I have found that most Cuisinart products are extremely well made and reliable, and this coffee maker is no exception.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite coffee pot like this. I can use my own coffee with filters and coffee comes out so smooth. When the coffee makers go on sale I always buy another one for back-up. This is my 5th one.

I purchased this coffee maker to replace an older one that was still working but was slow to dispense coffee and the taste was just so-so.
This coffee maker is quite the opposite. The upgrade I enjoy the most is having the light underneath where the cup sits so you can see the cup fill and won't under or overfill. It also dispenses coffee at the right speed. Not too quick or slow. The coffee also has a much better taste and is hotter than my other coffee maker, so maybe that's why the coffee tastes better. It's easy to fill, reload with coffee and set the timer each evening so I have fresh coffee when I wake. I can only say positives about this coffee maker and glad I made the purchase!
