An unfortunate disappointment vs S10

Iv was forced to upgrade from the incredible S10. The s24 is such a buggy disappointment in comparison... on multiple levels. Not sure why Samsung regressed so much on this version. But I'll really looking forward to an improvement next version.

not worth the money

it gets hot and loses battery even though its only 1 week old. Also it doesn't come with a charger or any accessories like the S20 did. Not worth the money

Annoying features.... But still a great phone.

The hidden navigation bar that is on the s21 ultra was setup perfectly.... Why when I get the the s24 ultra the hidden navigation bar is so confusing... scrolling left or right on the top or mid section of the page I'm constantly hitting the back button... Also the Google/ai assistant bar at the bottom should also have a transparent feature... One more thing the keyboard drop arrow, that has to go...

Smartphones enter the stone age

An incredibly buggy phone. You can't easily copy calls or emails to contacts. Cut and paste between messages and emails has extremely low functionality. I'd rather smash this phone than use it.

Goodbye S22

Received mine earlier than expected and the S24 did not disappoint out of the box. I traded in my trusty S22 Ultra and I immediately fell in love with the flatter screen and sturdy body. The faster speeds are evident, and the camera has subtle upgrades, that improve the photographic process. The "AI" feature is a real game changer for research. I do not miss my S22.

A subtle update, but exactly what I was hoping for

The moment I saw renders of the S24 with its flat sides, reminiscent of my iPhone 14 pro, I was interested. Its probably a minor detail for many, but I really find it aesthetically pleasing. It imparts a sort of practical and versatile utility to me. My last Android phone was a Galaxy S20, and I'll admit that I miss many of its features. Needless to say this was an easy decision(for the most part).
I've been using it now for about a week and its been a pleasure. The amoled screen is just as nice as I would expect of Samsung. The software works as described and is responsive and stable for the most part. I'm still undecided regarding battery life but its similar to my iPhone.
In short, I'm more than satisfied with this purchase. Also, the size is perfect to/for me.
