ABSOLUTE GARBAGE UPDATE
on May 21, 2025

The last UI update was nonsense but this most recent update IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE and I despise it. It has reduced the ease of use to the point that if I could afford a new phone, I would be buying a new phone and it would absolutely NOT be a Samsung phone. I may never buy one ever again. Who decided this update was a good idea? Reducing functionality is NEVER a good choice friends. I have been using Samsung phones since the S4 active. LITERALLY what the heck is this update.

No great features this phone sucks

This by far the worst phone I have ever wasted so much money on. No memory card slot, type on it is terrible hit one letter it might give you b a space or another letter so your retyping over and over again. Freezes up all the time. I have never had such a horrible phone. I paid full price for this phone and it's the last time I buy a samsung for the price I paid. Worst of all it shuts down for no reason sometimes so you think it's on when it's really off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The S24 sucks. I upgraded from an S10 a month ago and I've had nothing but problems with this phone. I recently (June '26) had a system update and the phone sucks even worse since then. I absolutely hate this phone.

No way to charge the battery
on February 19, 2024
Posted by: Katdog
Please explain why there is no charger with this. I went to plug it up out of the box and then realized there was not one in the box. How much would a simple one have cost Samsung to include this? A dollar on a hundred thousand? It's not that I can't get one but it is like not having a bumper on a car. One is needed and the manufacturer should provide it.

Salutations Katdog, Thanks for taking the available time out of your busy day to share your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy S24. The inclusion of wall chargers/adapters with our new phone purchases were discontinued sometime in 2021. With many people having compatible charging blocks from previous devices, we try to lead a sustainable future by minimizing environmental impact. Wall chargers are sold separately if you do not have a compatible charging block available. If you have any questions for us or if you would like any further assistance, feel free to contact Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thank you for being a faithful Samsung customer. - Debra
Held on to my Note 8 until I saw the S24. I enjoy flat screens and was needing an upgrade. Boy, was I Wrong. I lost my headphone jack, expandable storage and screen colors. Yup, colors. The screen is so washed out in comparison to any other Samsung item I've ever owned including my current Tab S 8 ultra. Yup, I am a loyal customer to the brand. I can live without these hardware changes, but every time I use the phone, I get aggravated with the colors. So much so that while writing this review, that it may be the longest use I've used the phone at one time. I don't like bashing any products or leaving 1 star reviews. This phone deserves it, however. I would love my Note 8 back, but it has already been sent off on trade in. I don't want to make the switch to the I Clone, but I may have to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello there, Thank you for finding the available time out of your day to share your sentiments with us about your Samsung Galaxy S24. If you find yourself in need of additional storage for your content, you do have cloud-based options available like Samsung Cloud, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive. Take a moment to review, "Manage storage on your Samsung Galaxy phone" if you would like more information on the topic, linked below. Samsung continuously enhances Galaxy device experiences based on our consumer feedback. The Galaxy S24 series' display has been tuned for a more accurate and comfortable viewing experience. We look forward to providing the best possible viewing experiences through advanced hardware and software integration efforts. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer.
Overall, I am a Galaxy fan starting with the Note product line and now the S34 Ultra is a beefed up Note. The circle to search is nice; however there are some apps available that do similar function. I would imagine the translate features will be helpful if/when they add Tagalog.
MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT IS THAT I CAN'T GET RID OF AN ANNOYING APP CLOUD NOTIFICATION. THE APP CLOUD MIGHT BE A GOOD THING FOR SOME APPS, BUT LET ME DECIDE. I HOPE THE NEXT UPGRADE WILL CORRECT THIS. THERE WAS COMPLAINTS ABOUT NOT HAVING A VIVID MODE AND SAMSUNG JUST CORRECTED THAT. PLEASE CORRECT THIS ANNOYING, IN YOUR FACE, APP CLOUD.

This phone overheats, while doing literally anything. Also, it has no battery life. I was listening to music and that drained the entire battery life unless I kept it plugged in all day, which barely kept it charged. My Galaxy Note20 which I was hmusing up until last week was and probably still is a superior phone model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
