Great machine with so many functions!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a coffee lover, I love that this machine gives the opportunity to brew regular coffee and make the fun, delicious drinks that my family loves. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a grinder on it so I can use fresh beans which is why it gets 4 stars instead of 5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Delonghi All in One is quite a machine.Two separate systems allow drip coffee and espresso to be made simultaneously. At first glance I thought it would be hard to set up but it really wasn't. Some important things to note, before you start making coffee make sure to follow the instructions on initial cleaning and initial brews. This helps eliminate any “plastic” like taste or chemical smell. You will notice this during the initial cleansing brews, but wasn’t an issue once I started making coffee. The drip side filter housing is also where you pour water, from the carafe, for coffee brewing. Just make sure to clean the accessories with soap and water. The water filter also needs to be rinsed prior to installation. The water reservoir (on the espresso side) easily slides in and out for filing and cleaning. Just make sure that you push it down all the way to avoid any issues. If you’ve never owned an espresso machine, the included owners manual does a great job of explaining all the prep required, and even walks you through the basics of making espresso, cappuccino, and lattes using the machine. Making espresso at home is one of the most rewarding experiences, especially when you get it right simply following the basic instructions in the manual. The “pre-heat” process is also much quicker than most single pod brewing machines. The carafe has a nice wide opening which also makes hand washing super quick. Brewing coffee is a similar experience to other drip coffee makers, which allows for up to 10 cups of coffee. The reservoir on the right side has an easy to see fill line. Filling to the max had the carafe full (at least in my use), at the 10 cup line or just short of it (like 1cm) depending on how much ground coffee you use. De’Longhi is top of the line IN my opinion in the industry of coffee and espresso beverages, you will not be disappointed spending your money on this! Well made and well worth the amount you spend for it. just imagine how much you will save in the long run.

Meets all of our needs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were so used to having either a coffee pot or espresso machine. When we had visitors we always had to pull two machines out. This solves that issue beautifully. I love how chic and low profile this is. Delicious espresso and coffee!

Buyer Beware - Poor Design and Quality

We received this as a gift and were at first very excited. After using it and being unable to return or get support, I would recommend not buying this item.
1) It is very poor quality - almost all of it is cheap plastic
2) The drip coffee filter and water fill pops out on the right, the steamer pops out on the left, and the espresso water tank (which we needed to fill every other use) needs to be fully pulled out from the top, meaning it requires a lot more space on the counter and can't be under cabinets (unless you want to move it every time you use it).
3) The espresso gets warm at best. They say you need to prewarm the cup and the system (making it take twice as long), but even with that, the espresso is not nearly cafe heat.
4) You have to wait between making multiple cups of espresso. Say you want to make one for you and one for your wife, when you take off the portafilter, almost half of the grounds stick to the water dispenser and you have to scrape them off and try not to clog anything.
5) The coffee ground holder for the espresso comes in 3 sizes, that are held in to the portafilter by friction. After 4 uses, the grounds holder dethatched itself as you remove the portafilter, spilling the grounds. it now detaches every time.
6) You have to turn the water flow in the espresso on and off manually, so every cup is slightly different volumes and strengths. There isn't a set amount of water used like in many other machines.
7) As the steamer heats up, it pushes water into the drip tray in the back by design, making the tray fill up quickly, and can overflow easily. Hot water flowing onto the counter and floor was not great.

The Perfect Mix

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a coffee maker that can do a proper shot of espresso. I've been disappointed with so many other brands where either they didn't make a true shot of espresso or the coffee side was nonexistent or cumbersome. This coffee maker checks all of the boxes, it makes GREAT coffee and amazing espresso. It has revolutionized our at home coffee experience, so while it cost more than a regular coffee maker, we are saving in the long run on our trips to a coffee shop.

Very, very cool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I told my youngest son that this device was on the way he got incredibly excited. My wife and I have never been ones to shy our children away from coffee as it has been a staple in our family and our extended family for generations. So the idea that we could make espresso at home was a very happy thought.
Let me get this out of the way... the coffee maker is fine. It makes coffee. It's the espresso maker that you want to care about.
First, it's very easy to use; surprisingly so. All of the attachments it comes with make total sense, though I have to admit it took me a minute to realize that one of the attachments was to make two cups of espresso at the same time. Very cool nonetheless.
The milk-frother... wow that was a new one for me. I'm still practicing using it though I don't think I'll ever be able to make neat designs and shapes in my coffee. :)
I'm very happy with this unit and it has a proud and loud position in my kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee and espresso machine has a lot to offer. This unit has a sleek, contemporary design that looks great on my counter. It gives my kitchen a hint of elegance. If you've never made espresso before, it'll take you a few minutes to figure out how to do it. It can be complicated at first, but it is actually very easy to use. The instructions are straightforward and simple to understand. I'm just enjoying the flavor of my espresso right now. You will, without a doubt, own the day until you wake up to a shot of great espresso. The frother is fantastic and makes the milk heated in under a minute! The coffee maker functions in the same way as a traditional coffee maker and is as basic as they come. I'm very pleased with the quality of coffee it makes. This machine is a great all-around alternative because it can make espresso and drip coffee at the same time. I would highly recommend this product if you're looking for a reliable all-in-one machine.

Now I can get rid of all of those because this one does it all. Plus I can steam and froth milk! Makes great coffee, espresso, whatever you like, and it's fun to use!
