Powerful combo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The De'Longhi All in One combination and espresso machine is a powerful all in one machine that can make both concentrated espresso or brewed coffee. I'm very impressed with the fact that it has dual functionality and does the job effectively without compromising one for the other. The machine itself took me a mere few minutes to set up and after running a water cycle through to clean it, started working immediately. Pros include:
1. Espresso can be customized to ground coffee or pods. It comes with 3 different filters including 1 cup, 2 cup or pods so that you can customize your coffee the way you want it.
2. Simple: there are 3 buttons to keep it simple. Just turn on, let it heat up and then the button to actually start pouring.
3. The milk frother is a great extra bonus. It has 2 settings for both milk frothing and cappuccino.
4. The coffee maker is a great feature for larger crowds and don't have to worry about having multiple machines since this one will do it all.
There were a couple of things about the machine that could use improvement, not enough to go down a star, but still enough to bother me. The amount of area, especially when making 2 cups of espresso, is not quite enough for a larger mug. When you make just 1 cup you can finagle it to fit a larger cup, but with 2, you really can only use a small espresso cup. Not a huge problem, but something to be aware of. I also would like to see an automatic espresso function; right now you need to start and stop the espresso manually. The machine does not automatically know when 1 or 2 cups are complete.
Otherwise, I'm extremely pleased with the functionality, simplicity and effectiveness of the combo espresso, coffee machine and highly recommend to anyone looking for a high quality combo machine.

Long Wait, Now Broken!

We finally received this after waiting over a month. Instructions were detailed on how to set up and use it. Have had trouble with it heating the water/steam….says its ready, but water still cold! Now today after only a month, we see that there is a big crack coming up from the heat plate. Waiting to hear back.

The coffee maker is pretty good, but I find it really hard to get the measure of espresso grounds right. A lot of times it doesn’t drip and the water sits at the top of the espresso, therefore I have to dump the wet espresso grounds down the drain and start over. The steamer is okay. It takes a while to get hot and even then sometimes it will shoot out spurts of water rather than all steam, I wish I had just gotten a regular coffee maker and saved the money.

Day 2 and blinking “warming” lights not working

I’ve had the machine only a few days. I used the espresso function ONCE (yesterday) today the warming lights do not blink. I had to completely unplug my machine, wait several minutes, reset EVERYTHING and then the warming lights blinked. DAY 2!!!! Disappointed is an understatement.

Disappointed since day first week of using

After one week of using it all buttons started to blinking, sometimes the machine didn't finish brewing. Because I got rid of the original box I didn't send it back. Now after 2 years of using machine is leaking on my counter top. Very, very disappointed. Never again Delonghi in my house.

Don’t Waste Your Money/Time

This is the SECOND machine we have received. The first one, heating element broke after a month. This one, heating element broke on the 3rd use. The replacement process took forever so I’m not looking for another machine just to break a few uses in again. I just want my money back…..
