[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So first the big issue. I went from S23 ultra to this phone. The S23 in a case layed flat on a table, no wobble, not unstable. There are no cases that address the S26 camera mountain on the back of this device for stable use. You can modify a 3D model but so far no models address the stability issue. That's it. The only real issue. Everything else is standard fair for Samsung. Excellent display, build, features. Galaxy AI actually shines here. The on device AI engine works really well with zero connectivity. Only issue was the interpreter. For some reason if you have auto detect languages turned on the feature doesn't work if you preselect the language on the UI. Turn it off and it works near flawlesssly (I tested with German and Spanish). Many of the gallery editing features are still great so I haven't found anything new there. I don't use phone, txt messages, I use VOIP so I can't really speak to those AI features. As for Now Brief and Now Nudge I consider them toys. For example how often do youbtravel that you need it to gather your info, or your agenda which you check in the evening normally. Also if you have a different sleep cycle than most folk the brief is not timely because it still functions for people that are in bed by 9-11 and up by 5-7. Overall a most excellent device.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just switched to the S26 Ultra, and man what an upgrade. Screen is so much more vibrant than my old S24+. The best new feature is the Privacy Display, so neat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The seamless connecting and switching between active Bluetooth and wireless connections has been fantastic. Also enjoy the much improved display.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not used the AI feature yet but plan to in the future. Like the idea of having 3.5k for watching videos and movies.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a galaxy user forever but never had an Ultra model until now. I was bummed that Samsung Messages isn't even offered in the Galaxy store anymore. I've enjoyed custom text message backgrounds for the longest time. So that was a letdown. I haven't used Galaxy AI much and don't really intend to. Not that I have anything against it. Just not something I use. Overall the phone is snappy, seems to have way better battery life than my S24, and I think it's not REALLY that much bigger. So I'll get used to the extra size.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy s26 Ultra is the company's newest do everything phone with a heavy dash of Galaxy AI. Starting with the bill quality which is solid as always the aluminum body has no flex which is great it feels solid and comfortable in the hand and I especially appreciate how it's 4 g lighter and a few tenths of a millimeter thinner it actually makes it more comfortable to use day to day. The sky blue variant is just gorgeous it looks so much better in person. Also hardware wise let's cut to the chase the display on the 26th Ultra is one of the best that Samsung has ever produced especially when you consider the outstanding privacy feature it works better than advertised and it could potentially be a game changer when it comes to people who are privacy first. The ability to tweak the way that it is implemented through software is just outstanding it's a great feature I plan to use it everyday and the fact that it works and the screen quality is still excellent really shows that Samsung knows how to put out a panel. When it comes to the CPU and GPU there's no question top of the line snapdragon Elite Gen 5 power on Deck the phone never gets warm and it just plows through whatever I need it to. As far as the camera system the versatility is still there we have a lot of lenses to work with and the fact that two of the lenses now have adjusted aperture to allow more light to reach the sensor those little refinements add up over time. It's just a great phone all around.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this new phone for 3 days now. I previously had the flip phone. I love this phone. It's not super heavy and the features are great. I'm still learning the different features such as galaxy AI.
