Slow Sluggish Half Rate Performance
on March 11, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Galaxy S26 Ultra feels slow and sluggish at half speed out of the box, with UI lag and throttling hurting day‑to‑day performance, even though the chip itself is powerful on paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You'll see many reviews on YouTube or maybe other places, but they are not regular users. They're out to be critical at all cost just to get clicks. I love this phone. It's fast. I'm moving up from a Galaxy s23 ultra. And after the software glitches after upgrading, this was a welcome change. The phone is beautiful. It's comfortable in the hand. I love the Galaxy AI features that is integrated into the phone. Many very useful things. I'm very happy with this purchase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Samsung s26 ultra with Galaxy AI seems great so far. Runs smooth and fast.
The battery life also seems really solid I've had the privacy display as well as display quality max and it's last me a full work day still with 80% battery life remaining at the end of the shift.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra to the S26 Ultra, and the improvements were noticeable right away.
The first thing I appreciated was the design. The rounded corners make the phone feel more comfortable in hand and give it a smoother, more refined look. The improved camera quality will always be a driving factor for an upgrade and this one does not disappoint. Photos are sharp, vibrant and detailed.
The built in screen protector is such an innovative and clever feature. I am glad to be amongst the early adopters as this feature provide privacy and makes my new phone feel extra secure.
I absolutely love the availability and integration of the AI features. Having these tools built into the phone provides convenience and functionality that enhances everyday use.
I am deeply invested into the Samsung ecosystem. I use the Galaxy S9 Tab Ultra, Galaxy earbuds and Galaxy Watch so the transition from the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra to the S26 Ultra was a no-brainer and seamless for me.
Overall, this device is AWESOME and I feel it was designed with existing and new Samsung Galaxy device users in mind. The design, feel and power of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra are all reasons I'll remain a fan for the foreseeable future.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Galaxy AI to search for helpful articles on the things that I need. I enjoy the AI for the pictures that I take in editing. It works well with my other Samsung products.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So as you know, the S26 just hit the market. Because my S24 Ultra was worth 850, I went ahead and traded up.
This phone is sleek, but also a bit bigger (which is fine). The new phones cases also have the built in magnetic wireless charging which is even better. I use otter boxes and previously couldn't take advantage of wireless charging.
The picture and video are fantastic as well! The S26 is chock full of new and improved features including built in privacy screen and the Galaxy AI. I mainly use my phone for photos which come out great.
