I have had good success with HP printers both in my office and home use over many years. I purchased the HP pro 8139e and opted to sign up for the insta ink. I was using the printer less than expected and cancelled the insta ink. When it was time to replace the ink the cartridges would not work because they we part of insta ink. I was very inconvenienced and ordered a canon printer.

Print quality is great! My first HP yellow replacement cartridge was not recognized by the printer. The fact that you are stuck buying HP only ink is more than a little annoying and pretty much ensures that I won’t buy another HP printer.

Enjoy downloading photos & making copies of them & I usually print on both sides of the paper. Sometimes I'm unable to print more than 1 page because they have a habit of sticking together. This happens even if I let the ink dry overnight.

Printer works great. I love the remote print. Black and white and color are great. Print speed isn’t bad for a home office printer. I use it to print interactive notebook pages for my students because I have limited prints at school. I often will send a print job and then work on other things. Just have to be careful to grab prints every so often or it will back up and cause the printer to jam.
Just can’t figure out why I’m being charged if I’m supposed to get one full year of ink included.
