Harder to install than my last HP printer and it is much slower than my last printer. I somehow change my language and I spent over a hour with your AI and it kept telling me to look for where it said something but it was in a foreign language. I finally ask for a human and she fixed it.
This printer NEVER worked correctly from day one. The software wouldnt update, It couldn't detect the size of the paper, and the connection was intermittant even though we have 5 G internet. Unbelievably frustrated and disappointed...we returned it.
The touch screen controls are awful. Takes multiple taps, pushes, holds, whatever for it to actually go to the copy function and then same problem to start the copy.
And the copy is fast enough - but then not sure what all the "noise" is afterwards as the print heads reset or whatever they are doing.
I guess the Instant Ink will work out ok. I got the initial shipment in plenty of time but since my usage is fairly low I haven't used enough pages to get another shipment. Hopefully that will happen before the ink runs out.
Actually if I could have my old 8600 Office Jet HP printer back purchased over ten years ago I would be a happy camper. It still works, but sits in my basement as I was encourage to buy this one. The 8139e paper drawer paper guides do not move well and I’m afraid to move as i think they will break. Not sturdy at all. The tray for multi-page printing sometimes does not grab the paper and I end up printing “nothing”, of course counting into the use count of pages printed.
