I bought my Breville Joule Turbo Sous Vide a few weeks ago and it has changed the way I prepare my meals in all sorts of amazing ways. Steak and chicken cooked perfectly! Also, as a bartender, I use to infuse fresh herbs, spices and fruits into spirits! It’s a must have tool.

I was an early adopter of the first Joule and am an avid long term subscriber to Chef Steps. I have other Breville products, including the new Joule oven. I was quite excited to get the Turbo however, when I received it, it would not work on my Wi-Fi systems. After much back and forth with Breville/Chef Steps it appears that the Turbo will not work in a Wi-Fi 6 (.ax vs. b,g,n) wifi environment. Breville’s solution was for me to get inside my router to turn off WiFi 6/.ax capability. Unfortunately, this is not possible on newer Comcast or Xfinity XFi systems, making the Turbo pretty much useless for what it was meant to do. The original Joule continues to work quite well in my environment so the change to a new Wi-Fi chip/software does not appear to have been a good idea. I did test the Turbo on an older wifi system and it worked however, I am not interested in sacrificing efficiency, speed and capability for someone else's design flaws.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the Joule before it was even available way back. I use it all the time. I bought this new one, so I could cook two things at the same time using different temps. I have not tried the turbo feature yet. I wish the software would just let you go straight to turbo mode like you can in non-turbo mode. That said, I think this is great.

And then Turbo comes out - clicked order on the first email and so please with its speed and accuracy. 95% of my appliances are Breville for their quality and innovation. Thank you!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a couple months ago and it has become one of my favorite go to kitchen machines. I love the ease of use I get with Breville The Joule Turbo Sous Vide verse my older one. With the Joule I can set the temp and it will be just that. I love putting a few pre vacuum sealed and seasoned steaks in the pre-temp water and letting them thaw and cook for hours and stays at the temp I set. One of my favorite ways to cook. Thank you Breville The Joule Turbo Sous Vide, great product!!

With the Joule app, this makes cooking error free — and honestly fun.
While the sous vide makes steak cooking somewhat too perfect, it's been fun to play with and try to make even better with seasoning and a good sear afterward. The quick turbo aspect is a game changer, as well as the ability to time sides while literally pushing "pause" on cooking. The quality is superb, the app is full of recipes and ideas and the only limitation is your own creativity. Go have fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm in love with this Sous vide I used to have such a hard time cooking fish to perfection and was easy I purchased the bags took the air out filled container with water turned on Sous vide and when it was cooked to perfection then I added oil and seared it. It was great taste same when I made vegetables and stake can't wait to try more recipes. Was so easy to use with the app on my samsung
