Install was a bit difficult. Venetian extensions were not long enough for the window width. Cools ok for bedroom space it's in. Some vibration & too noisy to run while attempting to sleep
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’re happy to assist with your air conditioner. This unit requires a window width of 21 7/8" to 36" with the side curtain panels installed. We recommend referring to the Installation Instructions for step-by-step guidance, starting on page 8 of the Use and Care Manual linked here: https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--Y8eJn2g7--/xmxbwo6zyygoh2afarub.pdf Note: Window requirement information is on page 11. This air conditioner has a sound level ranging from 61 dBA High to 56 dBA Low. This can be compared to moderate rainfall, a normal conversation, or a dishwasher. The fan may also run even when the compressor is not operating. For more information on the sounds the unit can make, please see here. https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16751 Note: Improper installation may cause a vibration in the window sill. Check that the side panels are properly fastened to the window frame and window sill with screws via the Installation Instructions provided above.
It cools our 2nd floor bedroom, but the auto feature seems to stop working if the unit is left on for several hours. I usually have to turn it off then on again in the morning.
I think it's great so far. Installation was a snap. Cools my 16 x 12 shed just fine. I run it on eco mode and it handles the Texas heat to date. No vibration. It's a little noisy, but that's to be expected with the fan blowing. The only thing I don't care for is that you can't direct the air up or down only side to side, other than that it's a great unit.
Instructions are too vague. I little more info about installation would be helpful. In addition, a QR code would help. Trying to understand how to install in a vinyl window.
Pretty nice little a/c. I put it in my motorcycle barn so when I work on my bikes in NC 100 degree whether it’s comfortable. It might be a little loud in a window. But I cut a hole in the wall for it so it’s quiet . But it seems a little loud outside.
It has great cooling and is very efficient it. When it’s an Eco mode, it turns off and it doesn’t run all night like my other one used to and it would get freezing cold. There is a digital temperature and that helps control the AC from running all night. It’s not very noisy and to install was pretty easy because my husband did it and I didn’t even know it. Sometimes it vibrates a little, but that’s just in the beginning.
