The perfect size air conditioner. Was looking for a smaller a/c and this is the only one that fit. It may be small but it is mighty, keeping the room just right - even in the August Alabama heat.
We have 3 of these room air conditioners, and they all work great low sound and cool the room off fast, and stop at the temperature set at along with an easy remote
Shoddy construction with flimsy plastic parts. Removing air filter pulls temperature sensor off front coils. The rack that holds the filter is made of tiny plastic pieces that are too short to hold filter in place and the filter can pop off the track while removing if it's not removed perfectly straight out. Only opening the front panel allows you to remove the filter without disturbing the temperature sensor.
Also, it takes forever to start cooling and the cooling is mid at best. Room never gets comfortably cool. No, there are no open windows. No, nothing is blocking the front of the air conditioner. There are no air gaps.
Also, the front vent only allows you to direct the air left and right, not up or down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to help out with your air conditioners cooling performance.
We recommend checking to see if the outdoor coils are potentially dirty or clogged up. If dirty, you can vacuum the area with a soft bristle brush. If you are noticing the unit cycling on and off too frequently, the unit may be oversized for the area being cooled or the filter may need to be cleaned.
If the issues still persist, we recommend checking into your warranty below for the next best steps: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--Z1HotDXs--/ufkasm4dsddkxf9zfxo7.pdf
We're going to be passing your comments about the louver and filter housing over to our product team to review.
