I am strongly doubt the noise performance claimed

The unit I just bought the operation noise level is much higher than the spec. indicated 54/52/51 dB.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect for me

I bought this portable air conditioner for my wife’s hobby room that gets very warm in the summer and sometimes through the winter here in Florida. I can’t believe how rapidly this unit cools that room off even in the heat of the afternoon making her hobby crafting a more pleasant experience. But Westinghouse because I have had good experience with their products in the past.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this in July of 2023. It's now Jan 2024 and we're delighted with the product. Cooled our 350 sq ft bedroom nicely. We just started to ue the heating at night since we have no heat in this addition; it works wonderfully. Not noisy in my opinion. You hear it turn on when it needs to, but nothing to warrant major concern. Had to buy a drip pan to place the unit on for the condensation line didn't reach or bend properly to anything and we couldn't get it out the window. The pan works fine, you just have to soak out the condensation from the pan every couple days. Love the unit and would buy again.

I HAVE PURCHASED THIS FOR MY TRAVEL BUS- AMAZING THAT IT HAS THE AC/FAN/DEHUMIDIFIER ALL TOGETHER- THE DEHUMIDIFIER IS GOING TO SAVE ME ON THE HUMID DAYS BY THE BEACH- CANT WAIT TO USE
