Not really portable

I bought this product thinking it was portable....since the hose goes out a window...I do not consider it portable. But it ccols very well and we live in Southern NM and it is hot outside.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This unit has plenty of power to cool down my 500 SqFt room even when the door is open. When the door is closed, as supposed to, the unit ran perfectly. Slightly noisy at low speed but much quieter than my old one.
I don't know how reliable this unit is. Wait and see.

After running the air conditioner for ~3 minutes, it sounds like an airplane getting ready to take off. I have checked the filters and exhaust and it still makes this horrible noise. Very disappointed!

I just have had this a few days and it’s doing all that I wanted it to do l need a dehumidifier but didn’t want to be limited in how many functions it could do.
