This aircon simply doesn't work

I bought this product and could never get it to work properly. It starts cooling and it immediately the air coming out of the air duct starts heating up and then it stops cooling immediately. I cut the air duct shorter and shorter until it was as short as I could, maybe 3 or 4 feet and the same problem happened.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not really portable

I bought this product thinking it was portable....since the hose goes out a window...I do not consider it portable. But it ccols very well and we live in Southern NM and it is hot outside.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
