I live inland in Central Florida and I bought this portable AC to supplement my central AC upstairs on really hot days and it is exactly what I needed to get the upstairs a lot cooler on afternoons when it is 95 degrees or even hotter outside and the central AC is maxed out in it's own capacity.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Crushingly C-O-L-D in my office now

This machine is absolute overkill for my office space. Setup was super-easy, I'm not handy at all and I was operational in 30 minutes.
It's so cold in my office now my wife thinks I'm reverting to a polar bear-like state. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
