It seems to be cooling the room down some but doesn't get cold at all. I purchased one that was for a larger space so that the cooling would be more powerful than I needed. The temperature only goes to 64degrees. The smaller one (10,000) goes to 61 and its a huge difference in regards to cooling the space. The space that I'm trying to cool is less the 600 sq.ft and since it arrived on the 18th it has yet to get the room cold.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased in time for a great heatwave, and so glad I did. Does the job and is surpringly not noisy.

I brought this air conditioner for a room in my basement because in the summer time it gets real humid down there! So far it has done its job! I’m happy with my purchase!

Man cave is much cooler now.
Batteries that came with remote were DOA. Once we figured that out, it works great.
If you turn the ac unit on at the unit, press the power button on remote so the remote works.

Good portable ac for the price.

I've had the ac for about 3 weeks. It cools a room 15 ×10 realy well. The installation is easy. I recommend purchasing an extra weather strip. The noise is about the same as a window unit when it's on ac. It's alot less noisy when on dehumidifier. The 360 wheels make it easy to move around. The only downside is the hose will come off the inlet when moving the ac if not careful. Over all 👍
