My stand mixer stopped spinning after 15 months, although I used very little. I don't understand why it can break so easily even though it looks so sturdy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my new mixer. I had my old one for 20 years. One thing I don’t like is it seems like it just doesn’t scrape the bottom of the bowl thoroughly. Flour etc collects at the bottom. I have to shut it off, scrape it up into the dough and turn the mixer back in to finish. Other than that I am pleased with my purchase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a gift for Christmas and used it right away. The attachments are easy to attach and remove - tilt and lock are easy. Instructions for which paddle to use are very helpful. Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looked for years to order a Kitchen Aid Mixer. Finally, the Premium Accessory Pack got me to purchase. Wish I could give a review. Broken out of the box. Motor seized and started smoking. Was let down. Sent it back. I cannot recommend as I was not able to use machine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Artisan Kitchenaid mixer is a disappointment. The motor sounds like it is straining to keep up with thick batters. There is a gap between the silver band and motor covering, which can allow flour to enter the motor. I should have kept my old mixer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the 6 quart but without the tilt. I purchased this one specifically for the tilt mechanism and to be able to keep it on my counter (the first is too tall). Love this machine!
Made Butterhorn Rolls for Christmas…will be making them again & again! So simple!
