[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a 25 year old KitchenAid stand mixer that had been a workhorse in my kitchen. I am a bit disappointed in this new one - the motor works well, however, the metal plate is oddly tarnished and won't clean, there are wrinkles in the band that shows lock/unlock and power speed, and the attachments have loosened and fallen off (the paddle attachment has already chipped as a result.) I am wondering if I have a refurbished machine?

Love the attachments

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I bought this as a Christmas gift for each other. Have done some experimenting. The locking feature doesn't always work. Bought the pasta attachment. Love those! Makes making pasta a breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used it twice and I love it. I can hardly wait to experiment more with it. It's easy to use and so easy to clean. I have to store it away for now for lack of space. But we're building a new house and it will have a special spot in my kitchen. Someday soon, I hope to get some of the other attachments (ice cream maker, noodle maker, etc.).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first "brand new" Kitchenaid mixer. The first mixer I bought 12 years ago from my best friend for $50. That $50 mixer changed my life! I have since handed it down to my son and daughter-in-law and purchased this beauty! It's amazing! These Kitchenaid products last forever! I will have to include this in my will. It will certainly outlive me, and I turn 55 this weekend.
