I bought this to make my cake decorating frosting. Then for the holidays I never baked a cake. I have tried it for a couple other recipes and have liked it. Just haven't used it as much as I thought I would yet.

As a professional baker, this kitchen aid is good but I would never use it for work. However, in my personal kitchen I love it and it is perfect! Getting use to the lift-up top took adjusting but honestly I prefer it now. The locking mechanism for that feature is a little flimsy, but nothing too concerning. The only feature I wish this mixer had would be the standard stir speed instead of jumping straight to speed 1 as this mixer's speeds are little fast, but the lid for the bowl helps with this problem just as easily. All around, this has been a perfect mixer for my personal kitchen!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this stand mixer at the end of January 2025. I love it! So versatile!! I love having both the 3-quart and 5-quart bowls and all the accessories that come with the mixer. Definitely a great investment for my kitchen!!!
