Great Mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to replace my 31 year old Kitchenaid Mixer. I prefer the 5 quart bowl to the 4.5 quart bowl and love that all the accessories/attachments work with this new mixer. A great investment!

Great mixer and features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the mixer a month ago and am extremely happy with it so far. It is strong. I made bread with it and it had no problem mixing the heavy dough. I have used it with success to make dough, pasta and mixing potatoes during the holidays. This mixer helped me to make better bread and it cut the time to make down and I used less items which saved me on cleanup. It is easy to clean. I will recommend.

Kitchen Aid Artisan Series with Accessory Pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using a hand mixer for 50 years and finally decided to purchase the Kitchen Aid Artisan, and I love it. It takes a little getting used to but I'm enjoying the learning curve and so glad I purchased the accessory pack along with it.

1. There is no spring to securely hold the attachments. The whisk and dough hook are loose on the mixer shaft.
2. The attachments are cheaply made and not dishwasher safe. The old ones could be put into the dishwasher and they came out perfect.
3. When I lock down the mixer head the mixer head still bounces up and down and makes a noise.
I cannot believe this one will last anywhere near 50 years. Not what I expected.
