[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this mixer as a Christmas gift. I had a KitchenAid mixer prior to this one. I believe, I’ve had it 25 years. It’s been sturdy and dependable. I wore it out. It was time for a new one. I don’t believe this new mixer is built as well as the older ones. The lock lever does not work. If the dough becomes thick it bumps the head of the mixer up and down. I have to hold it down. There is not a spring to hold the attachment on securely. I suppose it’s good enough, just doesn’t feel as secure. The mixer is sturdy, looks nice and I love the bigger mixing bowl.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted a stand mixer but could never justify the cost. I am doing much more baking now and my hand mixer wasn't the right tool, so I finally splurged... And I LOVE IT! It makes baking sooo much easier!
