I bought this before Christmas and, let me tell you, cookies were a breeze this year! I actually cook/bake so much more now that I have this little work horse. Absolutely the best purchase I've made in years.
I bought the Artisan® Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer with Premium Accessory Pack, Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder Attachment, 3-Piece Pasta Roller & Cutter and love them. We have made cookies, bread, and gluten free pasta and it worked perfect!
I bought a few weeks ago as a gift for my significant other. She is extremely happy with the mixer and all the features it has. She says she cannot wait to start baking things and seeing what it can do.
I purchased this Artisan Series 5 Qt. tilt-head mixer in March of 2025 from this website. I purchasedit to upgrade my 25‑year‑old KitchenAid Classic mixer to a newer model and color. I’ve only used this mixer a handful of times, and today, while making royal icing, it began making a high‑pitched grinding noise and gave off a smell that suggested something was wrong with the motor. It then started slowing down while whipping the icing. I’ve used this mixer exactly the same way I’ve used my 25‑year‑old mixer, so I’m very disappointed that it’s already having issues before even reaching one year of use.I now wish I had kept the work horse Classic that was made really well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My daughter decided to borrow my mixer when she did I knew I wouldn't get it back so I started looking at new mixers I ended up with the artisan 5 quart in Juniper, I wanted a dark blue, but when I was looking at the mixers, I couldn’t find one. Tonight when I was looking at them. I was a little disappointed because I saw a steel blue. I don’t know if for some reason, there’s two different kind of artisan mixers, one has more colors than the other but since I have the juniper, I can’t do away with it. It’s stunning. It’s absolutely beautiful. I may get a bowl to tie in the blue and the green as far as quality. It’s excellent. You can tell that by the knob that controls the speed, my old one you barely had to touch it, and it jumped a couple speeds the new one you have to put a little effort into it, so each speed clicks into place as it should in the last few weeks, I have come up with every excuse That I could to use my mixer so far I’ve had absolutely no problems with it. It works wonderful. I’m happy with it. I highly recommended and I hope this one last as long as the one my daughter took I know she’ll have many years of good use out of that one. I hope the same for me and my new one so my only thing is, I wish they had made the colors more available when looking at them tonight the juniper was in a category with a few other colors. While the blue steel was in a grouping with 30 something other colors. I think I don’t know why that is so if you don’t see your color keep looking. So long story short by my daughter taking my old mixer. I got a brand new one for a great price many attachments. It is very good deal. I can still use all of my other hook on attachments that I have as far as the meat grinder the grater I can’t remember all of them so yes, I highly recommend. Just keep looking if there’s a certain color you want. The quality of this mixer is excellent!!!
