Excellent mixer

Looked at otheer stand mixers and when the Artisan came on sale, I decided this is the one we are going for. I have only used it up to this point to make bread. I am pleased with the accessory pack that came with it. Nice selling feature.

I bought this beautiful mixer as a Christmas gift to myself, and so glad I did. I have a Kitchen Aid mixer that had been passed down to me years ago, but the Juniper color and the new accessories jumped out at me. This newer design has all of the things that my old mixer lacked, a handle on the bowl, a bowl cover with a spout so that I can add ingredients without flour flying everywhere, and a smaller bowl for when needed. I will happily pass down my old Kitchen Aid mixer to the next generation; and happily delight in my new mixer for years to come.

Wanted to like this, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like this one which I was replacing for my older heavy lift-stand mixer. But other than the color, being able to lock the head, and the electrical cable, I have not been pleased. The enamel scratches easily. The bowl does not sit in the stand well and gets loose. And it was not mixing items on the bottom of the bowl - this last item got fixed when I called but the other stuff is what it is. The included smaller bowl is great though. Basically I am trying to sell this and ordered the missing pieces of my older mixer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
