Great mixer, poor whip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the different sizes of bowls and all the new attachments except the whip. I replaced a 38 year old KitchenAid stand mixer that I loved. The motor on this new model is quieter than my old mixer which is nice and it seems to run warmer than my older model which hasn’t been a problem. So with all the great features I am disappointed that the whip oxidizes badly when cleaned in the dishwasher. My older whip never had this problem of black stuff rubbing off, it is unusable. I expected the same high quality in the whip that I’ve experienced with this and my older mixer.

Not like they used to be

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to purchase a new machine before my 40 year old model decided to quit in the middle of holiday baking. I am a little shocked the silver band no longer has the information the original models had and it rattles! Not letting go of the 40 year old machine in case the new one craps out.

It replaces my 25+ year old Kitchenaid stand mixer and was getting sluggish and noisy. Love at the accessories like the flex edge beater, pouring shield, scraper and pastry beater! I am one happy wife!
