Mixed feelings

I purchased this mixer primarily for mixing bread dough, and have only used it twice so far. It worked well for 2 loaves, but seemed to have problems with kneading dough for only one loaf -- the dough ball was small enough that it clung to the bread hook and spun around with it as a unit instead of being kneaded.

Powerful mixer

I had to replace a stand mixer that was around 70 years old - it was my grandmother's. I wasn't sure I'd like this mixer because I can't scrape the sides of the bowl as I'm creaming butter and sugar, etc, but this mixer has so many touch points, it's unnecessary to scrape so often. I love this mixer. It has a powerful motor, multiple attachments, and I know it will last.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my second Kitchen Aid, same model.

Additionally, I purchased the Kitchen Aid 3 piece Pasta Roller and Cutter Set. This is poorly designed as there is no cleaning mechanism. The pasta pieces do not come out with or without the brush as marketed.
In the future, I am hesitant to purchase other Kitchen Aid Items.

use it right away to make Christmas cookies and it worked as advertised. I want to get some accessories for it like the meat grinder and the pasta maker .
