Just don’t buy it!

I almost didn’t purchase due to all the bad reviews, but I figured those were just one offs. I was totally wrong. Right out of the box this thing has paint just falling off, and I can wipe it right off with my hands. The worst part about it is that it’s going to fall right into the bowl your mixing and into your food. I would definitely look else where for a mixer. It’s super sad to see what these amazing machines have become.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Why Did I Wait So Long To Buy This Stand Mixer?!!!

I started researching bakery style cookie recipes and I seemed to have found a new hobby. When things started opening back up, I sent cookies to my granddaughter’s school for Teacher Appreciation week, and brought them to several other school events. I had people asking to buy them. I was flattered, but I only used a hand mixer and some of my recipes call for beating the ingredients for up to 6 minutes. I would make at least 4 different batches of cookies at a time and my hands would hurt so bad by the time I finished. I just didn’t want to commit to making them for other people because of the pain in my hands. I would look at Kitchen Aid Mixers and think I couldn’t justify the cost, but one day, I decided to go for it! All I can say is WOW, I’m in love! It is so easy to whip up a batch or 2 or 3 of cookies and I have no pain in my hands! Wish I would have bought one a lot sooner!

The larger capacity Artisan performs well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only improvement I would suggest is a longer cord. The bowl with handle is much easier to remove than my last kitchen aide, larger capacity, and smaller side bowl is also great.

Dream come true

I appreciate each one of my KitchenAid mixers, but now I have my brand new gorgeous beauty.
It really is like having an extra set of hands to help in my baking and candy making.
I’m very much looking forward to my first batch of divinity.

Wish I had kept my old one.

Overlooking the fact that it took 3 months to receive my mixer (the educator's discount from KitchenAid was greatly appreciated, but if I had known it would take me that much longer to get it, I would have just purchased in a store) I can't say I am overly pleased with my new mixer. I had a KitchenAid mixer for 30 years and decided it was time to treat myself to a new one. Big mistake. I sold the old mixer to make way for the new one. I really wish I hadn't done that. I make a lot of bread, and with the new mixer, I literally have to hold it down on my countertop while it kneads the dough on a medium speed. My old mixer was heavy enough that it stayed put during the kneading process. It gets the job done, but it vibrates so badly that while it's mixing, the lever that locks the head in the down position comes loose. Like I said, it gets the job done, but I had hoped for more.
