Upgrade so worth it

Paddle does not stay in place

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this KitchenAid Artisan Tilt-Head mixer to replace my 35 year old original. Performs as expected, except for one issue. When scraping down the sides of the bowl and paddle, the paddle comes off. There is no spring keeping it in place on the keyed stem like in my previous KitchenAid Tilt Head Mixer. Found this to be quite a nuisance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the mixer for the first time two days ago and the speed switch is defective. Kitchenaide is sending me a replacement but I don’t have a lot of faith that the quality is at all what it used to be.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Tabletop Mixer Around!

Love my KitchenAid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing makes everything so much easier!!!! So glad I finally got one! I am thankful for the pour/splatter shield… not sure if bowl is not deep enough but have had some near messes without it. I wasn’t blending large amounts or on high speed, but without the shield I probably would prefer the 6 qt. I have used an older model 6qt and didn’t have splatter issue. Nevertheless- a stand mixer should be standard kitchen equipment!!! Love it!
I would recommend this to a friend!
