Good upgrade (except for wire whisk)

We replaced a KitchenAid stand mixer we purchased 7 years ago which had developed a few issues over time. There are 4 adults in the family using this mixer and everyone was very pleased with the upgrade. The splatter guard still has the whole in the back so flour can jump out there. Having two bowls is really great and the splash guard that goes all the way around (from my mother's 35 year old Kitchen Aid stand mixer) fits on it. The only grip is that the wire whisk still has this issue where the shiny part comes off if you leave it in water too long and especially quickly if you put it in the dishwasher. We already ruined one wire whisk on the previous KitchenAid by accidently putting it in the dishwasher. We've only had this new one for a few months when my spouse forgot and put it in. The water removes the coating and then black stuff comes off on your fingers or food. I am not sure why KitchenAid can't make a whisk attachment that can get wet and go in the dishwasher like the other parts. The whisk from my mother's 35 year old kitchen aid is going strong for decades and has been submerged in water many times.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad I purchased this stand mixer … does a great job mixing cookie dough !!! I have arthritis and this is so much easier for me to use than a hand held mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the color. It’s beautiful. Just seems not to lock as tight and to struggle with room temp butter. Hoping it’s just a fluke. Will keep using and readjust review as needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased for my granddaughter for Christmas. She loves it and is using it to enhance her baking and cooking skills. She said making Pavlova was so much easier with controlled whip of the merengue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and feel that it is not as good a quality as the one I’ve had for over 40 yrs. The only reason I bought a new one is because I wanted to update color.

My husband bought the Kitchen Aid Pro over 25 years ago, and I am really happy with it. But, unfortunately, it stopped working recently when I was using it to make my weekly batch of bread. I asked a friend to see if he can fix it for me.. Still waiting on him to let me know if it will work as before.,
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great new whisk, and paddles!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this new stand mixer for about a month. It’s a bit smaller and lighter than my old Kitchen aid stand mixer which is better for my old arthritic bones! My old kitchen aid mixer was passed down to my daughter because 40 years later it’s still wonderful! The new paddles for this mixer are great and I’m loving them! The blade with the rubber scraper saves time and effort, and the paddle with several cross bars seems to make creaming butter and sugar take less time.
