[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, so it isn’t out of the box yet. I have had a Kitchenaid stand mixer for years. It performs just as well today as it did when I first bought it more than 20 years ago.

Bitter Sweet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using a stand mixer, and I will admit... it makes things so much easier. That said... it squeals like a banshee while in use and is SOO loud which does not seem right for how much you pay for one of these things. It was so loud it work my elderly mother up who was across the other side of the house. I don't love that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Still great, but

I had a kitchen aid stand mixer from the early 90’s that I gave to a friend who was in desperate need. I ordered my new mixer and as pleased as I am with the look and the function, I’m incredibly disappointed with the whisk attachment provided now. It’s cheap, flimsy metal. I had to order the heavy duty one separately and it wasn’t inexpensive. C’mon, Kitchen Aid, you can do better than this.

Lovely mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I adore this KitchenAid mixer. The black matte finish looks fantastic on my counter. This is something I’ve struggled with in the last with my mixers that were “fun” colors. They didn’t really go with my decor, so I had to hide them away. The black matte can stay conveniently on the counter ready for use and add to the kitchen decor in a nice way.
This is the first time I’ve used a mixer with a stainless steel bowl, and I prefer it over the glass bowl. It’s very practical, easy to clean, and so much lighter to hold. Plus, this model comes with two bowls! Such a game changer. It has a 3 qt. bowl without a handle, and a 5 qt. with a handle. You could use these to mix wet and dry ingredients, do two different recipes, or use one for your cake and the other for frosting. All of this without having to was the bowl in between and the smaller one fits nicely into the larger one for easy storage too.
This model also comes with four different mixing attachments, and a super simple to use pouring shield. The pastry beater can be used for breaking butter into your flour for pastries, which is just so smart and useful. You have everything you need to get you started, but they also offer a ton of other attachments for any treat you can imagine. You cannot go wrong with this mixer at all, it’s just perfect!

The KitchenAid Artisan Tilt-Head Stand Mixer with Premium Accessories Pack is without a doubt currently the most stylish and useful appliance in my kitchen. It has handled everything I've thrown at it without hesitation from thick and hearty homemade bread to whipping up egg whites for a soufflé, the KitchenAid Artisan gets the job done! I'm anxious to add more accessories to get even more use out of it, I've got my eye on the pasta roller and meat grinder attachments first!

Not what I expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a KitchenAide mixer for 45 years and finally decided to treat myself to a stand mixer. I didn’t think from the description of the Artisan mixer that I needed the more powerful Pro series, but the mixer can’t even make a batch of cookies. I have to hand mix the flour into the dough. I would have also thought it would cream butter and sugar better, I admit it is easier, but I can do just as well by hand. So you can guess that I have serious doubts I can make bread with it, which is why I bought it in the first place. Also, the second time I tilted it back to take the attachment off a screw fell out of the back of the mixer. I can’t find anywhere that is missing a screw so am “assuming” it was an extra screw. I am trying to love it, as I waited so long for it, but is not what I expected from a KitchenAid. My aunt has had one for over 60 years (a tilt back one) and I bought my sister a pro series over 20 years ago and both of those mixers are going strong.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
